In the matched January, February, April, May and June window imports fell 22.5% in volume and exports 15.8%, while the implied import unit value rose from 767 to 1,058 EUR/t. Saudi Arabia held 61.7% of import value while India and the United States became material origins, and the export book narrowed to 77.4% to Mexico and 22.5% to the United States, whose matched-window total was -47.8%.

EU27 extra-EU styrene imports ran 678.8 m EUR on 733.4 kt in the twelve months to July 2026, while January-July imports were 35.9% below their value and 33.1% below their volume a year earlier; exports rose 48.8% to 161.0 m EUR. The United States and Saudi Arabia carried 90.3% of import value and both fell, China and Taiwan grew fastest from a small base, and the implied import unit value swung from 754 to 1,361 EUR/t.
