EU acrylic acid imports fell 64% from 2020 to 2025 to 5,315 tonnes; in the 12 months to August 2026 China took 58% of the import book, its material priced 41% below Korean lots.

EU27 ethylbenzene imports doubled to 142,475 tonnes in the year to August 2026 while exports fell 34%, flipping Europe to a net importer as China supplied 77.6% of the 2026 import book.

EU ethylene dichloride exports rose 56% to 540,168 t in the year to August 2026 at EUR 165/t, while imports cost EUR 444/t — a 2.7x gap between two customs books.

EU27 cyclohexane imports fell 82% in January-August 2026 as Saudi-origin arrivals dropped 93%; the US now supplies 56% of the residual book at EUR 1,034 per tonne.

EU aniline imports fell 8.7% to 273,991 t in the year to August 2026 at EUR 1,156/t, the lowest since 2021; the UK, China and the US supplied the entire book as Chinese prices rose 82%.

EU maleic anhydride imports rose 61% in 2025 to 85,239 t after Huntsman closed Moers; China now supplies 71% of the 2026 import book at EUR 921/t. Monthly data to August 2026.

EU ethyl acetate imports fell 5.1% to 295,956 tonnes in the year to August 2026 while China's share doubled to 22.9% and the import price bottomed at EUR 695 per tonne in March.
